Successor50 programmer is a new format of the Successor Base3 programmer. The changes affected only the production technology. The functionality of the device has not changed.
The SUCCESSOR50 programmer (Successor) is a programmer for SPI FLASH memory and EC from ENE/ITE/MEC/NUVOTON/EXPLORE. Output control signal levels are 1V8 and 3V3.
The Successor programmer is based on
a 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M4 RISC processor 120 MHz USB_FS
and FPGA from GoWin.
Currently, it supports:
SPI FLASH,
ITE, ENE, NUVOTON (CR16CPlus core and Cortex M4),
TETRIS (ITE_lite and BASE_ITE) are fully supported,
KEYBOARD_TEST,
MEC (core ARC-625D),
I2C EEPROM,
ITE EC via I2C bus,
REALTEK RTS545X.
It is planned to port:
EXPLORE.
The BASE4 has:
– ZIF socket (8 upper for I2C/SPI, 8 lower – AH duplication) It is convenient to work with DIP cases.
– 50 pins with a pitch of 0.5 mm
– 34 pins with a pitch of 1 mm
– 40 pins with a pitch of 0.8 mm
BASE4 can be used on a permanent basis for working with EC, and for SPI, and for I2C, and for checking keyboards with a number of contacts up to and including 50.
A group has been created in Telegram. In this group, we will try to solve problems promptly and only on SUCCESSOR.
The delivery set consists of the SUCCESSOR programmer module in a case, a BASE4 board and a basic set of 10 cables: with a pitch of 0.5 mm (on 15,30,32 pin), with a pitch of 0.8 mm (on 26,30 pin), with a pitch of 1 mm (on 24, 26, 28, 30, 32 pin)
IMPORTANT! The following items are not included with the programmer:
1. Socket for SPI FLASH.
2. Two USB Type-C cables. They are required for working with the programmer. One is for communication with the computer, the second is for connecting the GND of the programmer and the MB when working with EC.
